How you can become a Missionary at Home
 
DVDs NEEDED:
  • DVD videos on health, practical, doctrinal & Bible topics
  • Examples include: Moody Science, Singspiration Nature, Health, Music, Singing
    Inspirational,     Practical, Doctrinal, Evangelistic, Childrens etc
  • DVDs of Adventist TV programs from Hope TV or 3BN & other good sources
  • (NOTE: Video tapes are NOT suitable in our climate - but they can be copied to DVDs...)
  • DVD videos provide us with high-yield evangelistic tools-shown on our laptop
  • Some ministers in remote locations have been donated basic equipment
    to show DVD videos but often use the save DVDs over and over repeatedly
  • Videos and digital media are of intense interest to many islanders
  • They are a powerful means of reaching people with truth and to teach good principles
  • IN SPITE OF POVERTY, multimedia & videos are EXTREMELY POPULAR in remote Vanuatu    
    Already SATAN is supplying videos of an inferior & blatantly wicked character;
    Our aim is to offer something better; technology is coming & will come regardless
  • We plan to exchange (& destroy) wicked videos that are getting around Torba province
    by bartering/exchanging them for good DVDs and videos
    which contain truth & moral purity on many useful and enlightening topics
 
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
  • You purchase a DVD video recorder (& VCR recorder if needed) for several hundred dollars
  • While watching 3ABN or HOPE Channel TV you record suitable programs onto DVD
  • You could also copy suitable video tapes onto DVD (please seek advice regarding copyright as necessary)
  • You send us the DVDs to use/distribute in Torba Province
  • To do this you will search for and watch good video materials, which will be a blessing to you and your family
  • You become a channel of God's grace and have the privilege of sharing truth with many people in a remote place
  • You will be reaching people who are hungering and thirsting for light and truth
  • You can do all this by investing a small amount of well-spent money for God's work which will be an appropriate use of your talents
  • Even if you are house-bound or have restricted mobility you can be part of a real mission project
